“I have always felt a calling to compose music.  I believe it is a part of who I am and why I am here.  If in any way my music can reach others and touch them, then I am the one that is blessed to have had the opportunity.”

Kevin A. Memley’s music has received worldwide attention from audiences and performers. He is in demand as a commissioned choral composer and his music has been prominently featured in the ACDA national and regional conventions since 2009, and in several All-State Honor Choirs across the US.

Memley directs the Kingsburg Community Church choir and often writes for them. He holds a Designated Subjects Credential in Multimedia from Fresno Pacific University and has taught music in public schools for 28 years. As an accomplished pianist, he has accompanied the nationally acclaimed Clovis East High School choirs, the San Joaquin Chorale and the Clovis Community College choirs.

His passion is to compose, assist his community in music literacy and to mentor young students. Memley has also composed scores for film and enjoys the challenges and variety. Kevin is an active member of ACDA. He resides in Fresno CA, with his wife, Melody, and three sons, Mark, John, and Kyle. More of his music can be discovered at www.kevinmemley.com.
